Here Comes Trouble
A note about Miss Mutant: Miss Mutant is on "visual loan" from the collection of Gilda Cinnamon Watts of Louisville Kentucky. Born in the wilds of North Carolina (the gourd, not Ms. Gilda...), she was harvested by Harry Hurley, owner of Carolina Gourd and Seed. Harry insists she made her way to Kentucky quite by accident. ("How did THAT get in there?") We spotted her peeking out from beneath a mound of gorgeous gourds and fell in love on the spot! Can we reproduce her? We WISH! We could have sold her a hundred times over except Ms. Gilda would have beat us half to death! Miss Mutant is probably our finest example of the gourd's unique nature. There's not another one quite like her; there never will be. Just like you... she's a Limited Edition of One!
